There are two types of electric hot water systems – storage and instant. The most popular electric hot water system is the electric storage tank.

Electric storage hot water units vary in size from around 25L to 400L and cost between $450-$2545.

Supply and installation prices are for same size installations / replacements. An additional $185 charge applies where a tempering valve is required.

The above Electric Instantaneous Hot Water Systems are 3-Phase units. The Wilson A5 is only suitable as a replacement of an existing 3-Phase Instant Water Heater such as the old Hocking, the newer Wilson or the Stiebel DHF13 or DHF 15. Likewise the Stiebel DHF13 or DHF15 is also only suitable as a direct replacement of an old 3-Phase water heater.
